We will assist in solving problems related to light metals through collaboration between industry, academia, and government. The Tokai region is a hub for manufacturing, including automobiles, motorcycles, and aircraft. In recent years, the demand for lightweight materials, particularly in transportation equipment, has increased, leading to heightened expectations for aluminum, magnesium, titanium, and other materials. The Tokai branch of the Light Metal Society provides broad support, from material development for lightweighting to processing technologies. At this exhibition, we will hold lectures and displays themed around "light metals" and introduce the activities of the Light Metal Society.
